"N o 15: until 2012, this building housed part of the Society of Jesus and its magazine Étvdes . Most of the Jesuit intellectuals stayed there, including Pierre Teilhard de Chardin , Jean Daniélou , and Xavier Tilliette"
That's pretty neat! Pierre Teilhard de Chardin was a fairly controversial Jesuit priest and paleontologist who was instrumental in the discovery of Peking Man. I have a copy of "The Jesuit and the Skull", an interesting (to me) account of his work and subsequent hardships within the church as he tried to reconcile his faith with the evolution theories that his discovery supports.
